JazzProfilactika started as DJ collective featuring DJ Jijo, DJ Emotion and DJ Ivo-But-Not in 2008. Their intention was to provide a groovy and Jazzy alternative for the predominant commercial music scene in Varna, Bulgaria. Their headquarters became Cubo Beach bar.
Not long after they started, the idea to have featuring artist performing live along with the beats the DJs played became reality. During the past years many musicians and vocalists from Bulgaria participated.
In 2013 Tsvetan Momchilov joined the formation on Keys and French Horn. In the years that followed 9 tracks were composed and the debut album of JazzProfilactika named “Tick Tock” was recorded and released.
